Link of the week

This is the first link of the week.  This one may seem pretty silly because it's definitely not an unknown site.  It's YouTube.  Yes, the first link of the week is YouTube.  I know many people will think it's silly to promote a site as well known as this, but I think it holds a lot of valuable information.  Beyond what I feel most people use it for (entertainment), I think there is immeasurable amounts of actually useful information.  For example:

You can learn how to make butter with a KitchenAid mixer (something we're doing this weekend):

You can learn how to dance your first wedding dance like we did.  See our video here:

I am admittedly not as much of a reader as I'd like to be.  I'm very visual, and especially when I'm trying to learn how to do something, it really helps to actually see it.  When I'm looking to learn how to do something, I'm to the point that 80% or more of what I search for is first searched through YouTube.  If, for some small chance, I don't see what I need on there, I then search the rest of the internet.  It's crazy, the amount of stuff you can find on YouTube.  Seriously, we totally learned our entire first dance thanks to YouTube.

Next week, maybe it'll be a link you haven't heard of, but I would encourage you to expand your searches and use YouTube for more than just ridiculous videos.  Use it to learn how to do something new for yourself or your family and have fun!
